ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: POGO

The sweetest ear candy of 2014.

It's really something special when you discover new music you can't seem to let go of. When you hear a song that draws you in so close, the immersion feels so deep, your inner voice cries "moar!". Welcome to Pogo ladies and gentlemen - an artist who can chop up the sweetest sounds and turn them into a box of candy.

If imitation is flattery, Pogo is flattergasted. More than a bucketful of chopped Disney classics are available on the internet, but most are obviously inspired by Pogo himself. Credited or not, his compositions are floating around everywhere. SoundCloud in particular harbors most of his creations within his proper profile and scattered into the void.

Most notable are his popular Disney remixes, which was how we first discovered a long while back. "Credit to Pogo" was honestly stated on one users profile who re-posted a Disney cut. Upon discovery of his official site we we're pleasantly surprised and supplied with much more to enjoy.

Not everyone is a fan of Disney music, and Pogo understands that. That's why we'd like to point out that his catalog is very colorful. The Wizard of Oz, Borderlands, Star Wars, Scooby Doo, SpongeBob, Back To The Future, Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, Pulp Fiction and Terminator are just some of the others that have been on his chopping block.

Born Nick Bertke, Pogo (PogoMix) went from drumming at 10 years old to now producing music for Walt Disney Pictures, Warner Bros Home Video and Nickelodeon to name a few. He's generated over 90 MILLION views on YouTube with his talent and is showing no signs of slowing down.

We highly recommend you give him a listen. If you like Pogo's music, support him by following him on YouTube, SoundCloud, and streaming / downloading one of his songs via his store here
